2006 Elk
Here is one that I shot opening day. This was my first Elk. It was hard to pull the trigger on opening day after waiting 6 years to get a tag.

That's a dandy bull Bnhunting, congrats. I bet it was hard to end the hunt that quickly after waiting so long for a tag! It's been at least that long for me however. What unit? Rifle or archery?

5BS Rifle In the area of Turkey mountain. About five miles from Turkey Mountain. I put in a good day of hunting for it. I started at Turkey Mountain and walked about 9 miles that day. Then I became the camp beech for the rest of the hunt. I was however able to help recover a 4X4 for my uncle. Big thanks to him for the years of hunting and good training... Perkinsville Meat did a great job on the butchering. (small plug for them)

Good job man that is why you wait that long to get drawn so you can have a hunt of a lifetime and shoot a bull elk on the first day!
