I agree, that last buck looks nice. But where's the pics of the buck you killed!?! Here is a buck that was supposedly in AZ last year. The guy who knew about him didn't have a tag. :p Damn thing's gotta be 90"!!

Coues Sniper, sorry for being so late with this, but the pictures of that goat begs the question. In what unit were those pictures taken?
And what's it mean when you say... "a buck that was supposedly in AZ last year" ??? Must've been near a bordering state?
One thing's for sure, he's a toad! I'm not sure his 4th quarter measurement will carry him into the 90" class or not, but he's got loads of potential. Thanks for sharing the pics.

The guy would never say what unit. I don't blame him. I don't know the guy that well so i'll never get it out of him. He said it was AZ and was on private property most of the time, but the pictures were taken on public land. Just what he said which is why i said "supposedly". He is a neat goat though isn't he? :D

Yes, he is a very nice goat. I got an expert opinion on his score. 88" is what I was told.
I have some pics of this very buck. He's in Unit 19A, and is protected due to being on private land which offers no hunter access.
If I get permission (from a friend) to post the pictures he sent me, I'll put them up for all to see. It's definitely the same buck. The little kicker on his right side and his color markings are a dead give-away.

Since I am the "friend" TD speaks of, here are some more pics of this great speed goat that I have named Elvis. I have yet to see this buck closer then a mile or so away public land of any sort. Where I took most of his pictures wasn't really private land, but 100% no hunting.
He is truly a great buck. Enjoy the pics. I have about 30 or so of him.

I guess the secret's out now! :D Great pictures BML, they look amazing. And good eye TD, i think you're right!
If I thought this buck would ever be huntable, I would never have said what unit. He knows very well where he lives and during what times of the year that he can stray into other areas. He is smart and that is why he is so big.
Thanks for the compliment on the pics. I am an antelope guide here in AZ, so I take several hundred pics every year. Even if I wasn't a guide, I will still photograph these amazing animals. They are very challenging to get close enough to get great photos. I only use a 300mm lens, so I have to really work at it. I figure one of these days I am going to draw my archery lope tag, so I am merely practicing my stalking techniques all summer long while taking pictures!

Hey Blake, is it just posted "No Hunting" or is there also a sign that would prevent "recovery"? lol
